    Degree Pathways

    Master of Divinity
    MDiv · 90 Credit Hours
    A three-year degree that prepares you for pastoral ministry and ministry leadership. Requires an accredited bachelor's degree.
    Diploma in Divinity
    DpDiv · 79 Credit Hours
    The same coursework as the MDiv without the biblical languages, for students 25 or older who don't have a bachelor's degree.
    Master of Theological Studies
    MTS · 49 Credit Hours
    A two-year foundation in biblical and theological studies. Requires an accredited bachelor's degree. Credits transfer into the MDiv.
    Diploma in Theological Studies
    DpTS · 49 Credit Hours
    The same coursework as the MTS, for students 25 or older who don't have a bachelor's degree.
    Master of Theological Essentials
    MTE · 36 Credit Hours
    Core biblical and theological training for lay leaders and church-based ministry. Requires an accredited bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
    Diploma in Theological Essentials
    DpTE · 36 Credit Hours
    The same coursework as the MTE, for students 25 or older who don't have a bachelor's degree.

    The Rocky Mountain Campus offers scholarship opportunities for students at this site. Contact Dr. Josh Hutchens to learn what's available. 2026–2027 degree rates; audit fee is $100/course. ADVANCE courses have a separate $40 per credit hour support fee. Estimate your tuition

    How to Apply

    Apply online through the Rocky Mountain Campus at enroll.gs.edu/apply. All degree programs ask for:

    ✓ Online application + $50 fee
    ✓ Church endorsement (at least one year of involvement)
    ✓ Ethical Conduct Standard form
    ✓ A short response about your faith and call to ministry
    MDiv, MTS & MTE: official transcript showing an accredited bachelor's degree
    DpDiv, DpTS & DpTE: age 25+ with a high school diploma or equivalent
    ADVANCE: separate ADVANCE application ($30)
